What I wore: First day of school!

Oh man, I don't know what kept me up later last night, first day of school jitters or knowing that this would be my first outfit post! I still can't figure out how to upload pictures from my computer, but I can email in pics from my iPhone. So....here is my first day outfit!

Last year was my first year of teaching and I was super nervous for the first day. This year I was less nervous beforehand, but when all of the new students that I have never met came pouring my door, the nerves were definitely there! But, they were pretty tame and the freshmen still are scared of everything. I just hope it lasts longer than a week this year!

Well, it's Wednesday night so I'm off to the gym before I get to enjoy the last few weeks of Big Brother!

Hello World! Welcome to my blog!!

I have been LOVING the blog world now for about a year and during that time have been asked by tons of my family and friends why I don't start my own blog. Being an average American girl I came up with tons of "reasons" (think excuses) that were always the same... I wouldn't know have a strong focus like my favorite blogs (more about them later), I have no time, blah blah blah, I am a horrible speller (I am a math teacher after all) and the list went on and on. Well, Sunday morning in yoga my teacher brought this quote as inspiration for practice,

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...WOW! What a ride!" by Mark Frost

And today I start another ride in my life as a blogger. This blog is going to be about my life and the things that inspire me. You will find fashion, beauty, healthy food, pictures of my animals and all of the rediculus things that I think of and experience in my life. I don't claim to be any good at this yet, but it will be a work in progress and I promise, I will have funny things to share with you!
